Meet Origami Owl Independent Designer LocketsNcharms and Learn What She Does For Her Team

March 6, 2013 by Jennylou

I did this video last week introducing who I am. I was looking through my Origami Owl videos and thought.. oh… I’ve never really introduced myself and it may be helpful for anyone wondering if they can be an Origami Owl Designer as well.

Did you get the main point of the video? It is, “If I can do this, you DEFINITELY can do this business!”

Also, if you don’t have a Mentor or have a team to join, do consider ours, The Parliament. I am very big on family in my personal life and our team is family as well. We are all very supportive and helpful of one another. We have a very active FB group that are there for tips, business ideas, motivation from the resources and sales books I read, but most of all, encouragement from fellow designers new and old spanning from coast to coast.

As far as lessons and trainings with Origami Owl, there is plenty in the back office but I also do trainings one on one with all my personally mentored Designers. Every one has different needs, situations, and questions not covered back there so this is where I help you.

Weekly emails are sent in to my personally mentored every Tuesday.
Phone call trainings – Intro and Basic Trainings, Ordering, Hostess Coaching – we cover these topics at scheduled time slots that work for you.
Also available is my personal phone number to stay in contact within the week via texts or calls…
In a nutshell, my goal is to help you be successful with Origami Owl.

I will be the first to acknowledge that Origami Owl is not for everyone at every time. Not everything will always be perfect and rosy but I will say that there hasn’t been anything that hasn’t been worth the wait or growing pain with this company. Origami Owl has been really good to me and I want you to see it for yourself as well.

With ample communication with your Mentor and Directors, planning and proper training on your end, you build a line and a business that is strong and can alleviate the impact of hurdles that do come to business.

Let me know if you would like to join us and start receiving company materials and training so that when your kit arrives, you would already have the confidence to step out and soar with your Origami Owl business.

xoxo,

Jennylou Raya

How to Design Your Origami Owl Jewelry Table of Lockets and Charms

February 27, 2013 by Jennylou

I have been asked so many times, of an updated video on how I set up my Origami Owl table.  And so, I did a video showing how I do it and how easy it is to do it.  Without talking and commentaries, Jennylou Raya, Independent Designer #1186 shows you how can set up and break down a table in less than 10 minutes together!

This table was built over time and with being an Origami Owl Designer over a year. I do prefer the make-and-take method where people take their lockets home that same night and I replenish my table after the party. The goal of this video is to show that a Designer’s table can be done fast, fun, and easy – and beautifully too – for you and your guests!

There is no “one method” of having a table. I’ve seen over a hundred tables. The deal is…  you stick to the Origami Owl branding – the colors, the owls, the fortune cookies, packaging, and things on the table clearly shows that it is an Origami Owl table. With my hundreds of charms and a hundred plates, this is what works for me. You will find the best way that works for you. Some do gem jars, some do bowls. Designers’ tables range from “Only look at everything and/or have an unspoken DO NOT TOUCH feel to it, while there are Designers’ tables do lots of stock on hand and tell people out loud PLEASE DO TOUCH EVERYTHING!!!

I have been informed that some have beef with my “baggies” for plates.  The baggies are hung nicely on an owl carousel sorting the hand-stamped plates by what they say on each.  One section for all the “love” plates, one section for all the “mom” plates and so on. Plates (almost 100 of them) are organized and easily viewable by party guests – easy to view, keep clean and best of all, my guests are not put off by other people’s oily fingerprints on them.  This what works for me and my business.  If you had/have these many things on your table, how would you display them?  I would love for you to share your video =)

I did forget to put up my really nice picture frames that hold the price cards (prices of lockets, charms, plates, chains, and dangles).  Don’t forget those on your table!  I once had a 6ft banner but someone never returned it to me.  I guess it was too pretty to give back  😉

Tell Your Family Story with Lockets and Charms

July 17, 2012 by Jennylou

There are plenty of charms to tell your family story, your story as a woman, wife, and mother.  You can even switch them out to fit the day’s occasion with our magnetic closures.  Start with some charms, choose a locket, then add a plate, an extra chain, and a few dangles and you have a locket truly your own that tells your story whatever role you happen to play today or every day.

Rebranding to ‘locketsandcharms’ and ‘locketsNcharms’ and Why?

July 2, 2012 by Jennylou

When establishing a brand online, consistency is important.  With that said, I have changed my “name” associated with Origami Owl to “locketsandcharms” on all of my sites where I share Origami Owl Custom Jewelry.

I also will be using ‘locketsNcharms’ online, as Twitter and Pinterest usernames boxes could not fit ‘locketsandcharms.’  For this reason, my Origami Owl Facebook page’s URL will also display ‘locketsNcharms’ for the sake of social media username consistency.

Just as I have consistently branded myself as a Mom Blogger as JennylouRaya, and my ties to our family’s candle business consistently display iHeartEclipse, I am doing the same with LocketNcharms on Facebook, Pinterest , Twitter.

Why the name change?  The previous name, my personal name, I had on my Origami Owl sites is overwhelmingly tied to topics related to mothering, cooking, homeschooling and business in general.  It was a clash, in my opinion.  When someone “googles” any of my “names,” I want a consistent message.  I do not want to be googled by any one of my audience and they see everything else but my intended message for them.  It would be a loss of credibility to me and a world of confusion to them.

The Ultimate Goal: the audience coming across any one of my “names” or brands, know or have an idea of what it is they are getting into and not be totally blindsided by something else.  A successful brand strategy will give audiences one thing and one thing only; the specific information they need and want.  LocketsNcharms online is Origami Owl Independent Designer #1186 and blogger of https://locketsandcharms.com =)
