It’s been 2 weeks since I have posted a blog post so here is a quick recap.

Designers in waiting has been upped to 3499 per week for the second week. The DIW list remains long and interest remains high! Congrats to all the new Owlettes!!!

How to Pack for Origami Owl’s 1st Annual Convention #O2NationalConvention

BEFORE:

The above was only half the stuff I need to bring to convention. I definitely needed to figure out a better way to pack if, especially, if I did not want to pay for luggage fees.

Origami Owl fashion Inspired watches — These are my 2 watches from Styles for Less. At least one or both of these will coordinate with an outfit in this bag.

I quickly realized that time was running out and I needed to get packing. I turned to my FB friends for some help and it turned out that many were professional packers and told me how to go about packing for #o2nationalconvention.

Then I took to packing and shared the picture with the O2 Convention Group of Ladies. It was received well and I thought I would make a video too. So, here it is:

Below is the final result of what my luggage looked like after everything was rolled. There was still room to spare even after adding my Gala dress and White Out outfit!

AFTER:

Packing for Origami Owl Convention — Everyone is right, you fit a lot more by rolling the clothes! In my carry on luggage: 3 pairs of shoes, 2 pairs of shorts, 2 tees, 2 tops, 2 slacks, 2 dresses, necessities, beauty essentials, a bolero, sweater, and bathing suit =)

Give rolling clothes a shot and see how much you can fit in your luggage to #O2NationalConvention =)
