Steph called me on my cellphone one hot morning. I have never met her before. She had gotten a hold of an Origami Owl catalog with my name on the back and wanted to order for a friend. After the call, and lots of texting pictures of the locket combinations, we finally got it right. This is what she is giving to her dear friend:

I asked her if she would not mind sharing the story behind the creation and this is this locket’s story: “… She has become one of my good friends 🙂 The P is for her last name… the birthstone hearts are for her two oys, the sand dollar represents her older son and her finding me sand dollars in San Felipe and the flower is because she used to own a flower shop.  I decided in blessed as the back because she is religious.”

Doesn’t hearing her story make the beautiful locket 10 times more beautiful?  Steph texted me “She loves it!” and I was just overjoyed and celebrating in her happiness.  It felt like someone just gave me a locket!
