A Charmed Tree with Origami Owl Lockets

The locket above represents a wife and mom with 2 kids, 1 baby on the way, loves Jesus and has a strong faith, she leads the music and worship at her church. i designed this with a few words told to me by her husband looking for the perfect Christmas gift for his wife.

This locket was designed to represent the marriage of my cousin and his wife. They both have a heart of pure gold and were married on the shores of San Diego with a nautical wedding theme. They are high school sweethearts who wrote love poems about her before she even knew he liked her. J & T will be eternal.

Origami Owl – New Signature Packaging

I am always thrilled to receive shipments from The Nest because 1. I have more inventory to sell on my jewelry bar, and/or 2. I have just received orders that will make recipients shout with joy as I have fulfilled their gift list.

Today’s delivery, I am even more thrilled because this time, it is something for me. On top of that, not only is it for me, but it also came in a cute pink delivery box!

Just as I have a smile every time an Amazon box looks at me upon arrival, I will smile when an Origami Owl box tells me, “TODAY… happiness HAS FOUND YOU.”

Stop the Political Mudslinging

Here is the locket and charms ensemble I wore on Election Day. There was no need for me to get all nasty over who to vote or not vote for as so many on Facebook did. Instead, I reminded everyone that we all had the same equal right/privilege/opportunity to vote and for each one to use it. The loud person on Fb only has the same power or footing when it comes time to speak at the polls. So for now, lets put things aside and….

There are plenty of charms to tell your family story, your story as a woman, wife, and mother. You can even switch them out to fit the day’s occasion with our magnetic closures. Start with some charms, choose a locket, then add a plate, an extra chain, and a few dangles and you have a locket truly your own that tells your story whatever role you happen to play today or every day.

Locket inspired by Twilight’s Breaking Dawn

Those who know me even a little bit know that I am a Twilight Series fan. It may be the sappy story line, or the innocence of young love, the message of “you are ultimately the choices that you make,” or the powdery face of Robert Pattinson when I first saw him grace the 42″ flat screen in my living room. Whatever it is, I have incorporated Twilight in several aspects of my every day life – even candles inspired by the books. And one of those include the lockets that I have. This picture was created by my friend and fellow team mateGenelle. Once I got all my pieces, I had to make one for myself too.

Pictured here is a Large silver locket with crystals, an 18-20″ rolo chain in silver, 4 charms (apple, piano, infinity symbol, and a book that says ‘i <3 to read’), and 2 dangles (rose in vintage white and a bayview dangle in gray).
