I love the intricate detailing of the locket faces in the Sentiment Collection.  It was first revealed at Origami Owl’s National Convention 2016 (see the clip here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrKLphsfzR0).  Inspired by vintage jewelry found in Paris’ shops, this collection lets you create a custom look with a story hidden inside.  As the co-Founder Chrissy said at the time of release, this locket allows you to hold a story near to you and gives you the ability to keep it to yourself.  Unlike our other lockets that have clear glass that clearly display the story you want others to see, this is the opposite of that while being beautiful. The Sentiment Collection allows you to keep your wishes to you, unless you want to open it up to those around you.

How to assemble the Origami Owl charm bracelet:

Once you have it in your hands, try it on and find your fit.

Yes, there are extenders included. We said customizable, didn’t we? Don’t need them? Simply remove them and move on to the next step.

2. Choose your charm pendants.

My Fall 2018 Origami Owl Favorites

Lots of new pretty things were revealed in the 2018 fall collection; of course fall charms and new lockets came out. Many charms are relevant to the fall season and many work year round. I love them all but some deserve a mention here as my favorites ?

The charms include a fox, a fawn and even a dinosaur ? but here are my ultimate favorite charms:

Whaaaaat? Do you see it?!? The STEM-loving homeschooling mom in me squeals with glee!! There’s a microscope charm and a planet charm in there!!! I just about fainted when I saw this. My kids love all things science and these charms are perfect!

My second top favorite from the Fall 2018 release is a whole new collection and does not involve a locket or charm and I can’t pick just one.

You’ll understand when you take a look at this:

I am a huge believer in the power and strength of positive words. Our mind, by default, are full negative thoughts which lead to fear and anxiety. I struggle too. My daily staple from Origami Owl is the “Faith over Fear” Bar necklace pictured here:

This is the first selfie I’ve posted in public in over a year. I’ve had a fear of what others might think – physical scrutiny and judgement over my looks since having my baby (she’s 14 months now). I’ve been feeling really insecure over my appearance for so long but shot this after hearing some wisdom and Scripture at http://sdrock.com. The topic was in regards to our ? brain and how we can have the mind of God.

I’m looking forward to getting my hands on the Empowerment Collection and layering it with my “Faith over Fear” Bar Necklace. Speaking of these bar necklaces, Origami Owl released some new ones. Let’s be real, I know positive jewelry won’t make it all go away but it helps me to see a visual reminder of the promise of God in 2 Timothy 1:7. For me, my “Faith Over Fear” Bar necklace is a simple but profound addition to my every day. Every time I put it on, I am reminded of truth in the scripture in regards to my fears and anxiety. Getting up and moving helps and when I do, feeling the Bar Necklace move around throughout the day, reminds me to think “Faith Over Fear.”

My third favorite from Origami Owl’s Fall release is a locket. It’s the Geometric locket that is oh so pretty and a locket shape I’ve never seen before. Like all lockets we have, including our new earring lockets, these lockets hold charms to tell our story or to create a custom look like no other. It goes right in line with geometric shapes and trends in fashion (and – oh look – the space theme they’ve got in there are all over kids’ clothing at the stores #backtoschoolshopping).

So, there you have it: my top favorites from Origami Owl’s latest release that took place just days ago, August 1st.
