Your Emotions Affect Your Actions

Just as the saying, “You are what you eat,” the same goes for “You are what you think.”  It is this quote by one of my favorite philosophers Brian Tracy that said it best:

One cannot avoid coming across or receiving negative emotions from those who choose to harbor and send some your way, but one can free, rid, eliminate themselves of it.

How to eliminate negative emotions:

1.  Stay away from negative people.

2. Do not try to control people, instead, control your surroundings.  That may mean doing #1 AGAIN.

3. Fill your life with positive things, thoughts, and people.

4. Negativity breeds negativity in all things. Two negatives making a positive only applies to math integers.

5. Stop sweating the small stuff; everything is small stuff, especially “stuff” of those who major in the minor and minor in the majors.

 

Life is beautiful, life is grand.  Excuse me if I do not want to partake in the negativity.

 

 

Origami Owl and FedEx Elves Deliver!

We hear from the Nest how busy it’s been, how hard everyone has been working to fulfill all the holiday shopping and gift giving that everyone’s been doing. We hear it; we know it, but nothing says it more than a picture.

To the right is the fleet of FedEx trucks picking up packages. To the left is the truck that just arrived at my doorstep. I can’t open up my box just yet and play around with all the new stuff. I gotta clean my nest first 😉

I recently had an epiphany. Here I am helping women share their story by helping them design and build their locket, but I didin’t have my story fully express who I am (yet). Yeah, I wore a locket- a Mom charm, birth stone charm, and a set of wedding ring charms. But that isn’t my full story. Besides giving women the opportunity not only to tell their story but to share it I began reflecting on who I am at the core. The design I came up with is a silver chain and locket with a computer, owl, and mom charm inside it. The perfect mommy blogger gift. My question to you is are you sharing your completed story or just chapters?

Origami Owl Independent Designer in San Diego

Origami Owl San Diego I love San Diego. It’s one of those places that is just aesthetically beautiful to look at year around. I remember taking this picture of the Mission Bay marina mid November dreaming of all the possibilities. One of those possibilities reflected a conversation I had with my husband about leaving San Diego for a place with a lower cost of living, but with the success I’ve been having with Origami Owl Living Lockets™, we have since reconsidered. I am grateful to be an Independent Designer working with a young growing company that keeps coming out with great products. I started January 19, 2012 and I can honestly say this is the best party plan jewelry company out there.  If for whatever reason we do leave San Diego, everything will be alright as I can literally work and mentor my team from anywhere.

Origami Owl California Living Lockets

Have you seen Origami Owl Living Lockets by Jennylou in California yet? I can be found in San Diego and Ventura County.  I have team members all over California and across the nation that share Origami Owl.

Regardless of where I go, it seems that women everywhere take notice of my lockets, especially at gettogethers with family and friends. My favorite part is actually watching the excitement unfold as I give them away as birthday, wedding, and thank you gifts. There is something about receiving a little white box with an owl imprinted on it followed by opening a colorful silk fortune cookie style pouch. Imagine you giving the perfect gift – a locket with 3-5 charms inside – such as a book, music instrument, a child’s birthstone, occupation, faith, or their most treasured cause – sharing the story of life.
