Monday Musings: Happy Monday Team Haute Parliament

Good Morning Team, I know there has been lots of 🙁 this past week but in the spirit of a brand new year and a brand new week, I have 3 challenges for you:

1. To focus on what we can do (instead of what we can’t).
2. To focus on what we have (instead of what we don’t).
3. To focus on what we ourselves are doing right (instead of what others are doing wrong).

Like in walking and riding a bike, we go where we look and focus.  If we want to get to where we want to be (which is up), focus and light up your goals and dreams so bright that “those other things (or people),” don’t phase you and left down there in the dust and in the dark, while you SHINE.

DREAM so BIG and SHINE so BRIGHT – there is no room for the little things to move into and darkness to occupy =)

I know the “not-so-good” exists but it does not determine my day, my business, and overall success because I won’t let it.  I keep focused and keep going with what I can.  I see someone breaking a rule, (almost always), I let it ride and don’t report them (I know someone else will).  I have so much life and business ideas to carryout and not enough day left that I don’t give “the bad”  the honor to my time and energy. They are simply a distraction, in my book, and I just say to myself… “She didn’t read the P&P” and move on.

Focus on the “good” things and bring life into your day and into your business.  Focusing on its opposite brings death to your mood, day, and business. Leader for 2 years here in o2 is not that long but long enough for me to see patterns that those who focus on the right things do better than those who focus elsewhere.   Happy Monday!

Reflecting on Year 2 with Origami Owl: Freedom

On December 31st, I looked at my year with Origami Owl and all I could think was that it has been unreal when hubby handed me my totals for the year. I could look at it and say “Oh shoot, I will owe so much in taxes!” but instead, I had tears rolling down my eyes. I recalled the night when we were searching for coins in couches to make rent that was already overdue. God must have remembered when I told him that when I make money, I will make sure to give because that is my heart’s desire.

Here I was 5 years later, December 31st, giving more money than I had made in [other “hobbies” and business ventures] all the years combined [2008-2011 being a stay at home mom], before joining Origami Owl Jan 2012, in one single click, and doing the same thing for another organization. Here I was so happy and elated that I am able to fulfill my promise.

Year 2 was 4 times bigger than Year 1’s numbers, and I have yet to start Year 3 with the company. This is from someone who is deathly afraid of the phone and to make phone calls, to ask people to do a party or join my team or even bring it up in any conversation even when they have asked me about my locket.

Despite my “flaws,” I learned and practiced how to grow out of my shell, took lessons in sales and marketing and personal development, removed negative thinking and negative people from my life and as a result, I was able to grow with Origami Owl.

I also learned that earning money is not a bad thing. For me, it is a symbol of freedom; Freedom from worry where I will be sleeping that next month if we were kicked out of our home. Freedom to help others in the same position.  Freedom to do good for others.

While others drop out, make excuses, and major on the minors, I stayed the course to my dreams and continue to soar. I welcome you to soar to your dreams too. Let no one’s opinion or reservations stop you from heading to your desired destination – or like in my case – freedom. One Year from Now Origami Owl

Your Gift Certificate looks something like this:

You may email or call to redeem your certificate jennylou@locketsandcharms.com.
Simply have on hand your Gift Certificate.  On one of the corners, you will see a Transaction ID or a Receipt #. Please have this info in addition to TO, FROM and amount purchased.  I will need this information to cross reference with what I have on file.
Your jewelry options are on my Origami Owl website http://locketsandcharms.origamiowl.com/.  Let me know which you want and I will be placing your order for you with Origami Owl Headquarters.

Taxes and shipping do apply as per local and state laws and is determined by the shipping address for your jewelry.
Taxes is for the retail value of the order, before GC and free charm(s) are applied.  For example, if the jewerly order is $60 and the GC is for $50 + a free charm ($5 value), $55 will be applied to the order but the retail tax is not only on the $5 but on the $60.

Origami Owl’s shipping and handling fee is $5.95 for $100 and below in retail (prior to tax and shipping) and $7.95 for orders above $100.  The ordering system complies with tax laws and the following states will tax shipping as well: AL AR CO CT FL GA HI IN KS KY LA MI MN MO MS NC ND NE NJ NM NV NY OH PA RI SC SD TN TX VT WA WI WV WY

If your order exceeds the gift certificate amount you received, you may pay the difference.  I am able to send an invoice for the remaining balance.  Once the balance is fulfilled, the order will be placed and processed by Origami Owl Headquarters.
Gift certificate recipients, please contact me to place your order.  Do not place and pay for an order online as I will not be able to redirect, reimburse or personally refund your order.  The O2 Code box or Jewelry Bar Code box at check out is not for these gift certificates. 
As of right now, the only way send and redeem Origami Owl GC’s is through the involvement of an Origami Owl Ind. Designer. In this case, with GC’s purchased through me, I will be personally placing the orders for recipients after the initial contact and letting me know what items they would like with their GC.

If you are wanting to reach me after hours or prefer placing your order with me via email, please copy/screenshot your shopping cart and send it to jennylou@locketsandcharms.com with a mailing address so I can calculate totals.
If you have already gone to my website at locketsandcharms.origamiowl.com and created a customer profile, I can complete the order process for you.  Supply the email and PW for me to go in and apply the $ amount of the GC as payment.   Again, if your order exceeds the amount of your CG,  an invoice will be sent to you prior to finalizing and turning in your order to Origami Owl. Once payment for outstanding balance is received, the Origami Owl order will be completed and turned in for processing to Origami Owl the company.
Please allow 5-7 business days to receive your Origami Owl Creation.  If Inscriptions aree part of the order, please allow 7 – 10 business days to receive it.
