“No worries” is what I’ve been telling my Origami Owl customers when they forget about the base.  “What the base? What the base? What the base?,” they ask.  My answer?  “The Twist Living Locket Bases that go with every Living Locket Twist Faces, Silly!

Looking for the original lockets and not looking into ‘doing the twist’ with a face and a base?  Purchase a Classic (one-piece) Living Locket by Origami Owl.  These lockets open and close like a clam shell and stay shut with magnets. No 2 pieces or doing the twist here =)

Here is an example of the Classic Large Living Locket with Crystals.  As you may notice, it looks very similar to the Large Silver Twist Locket Face with Pave Swarovski Crystals featured above but there are quite a few differences…

1. The crystals in ALL of the round  twist faces are Swarovski crystals. The crystals in the round classic lockets are not Swarovski.

2. The Twist Lockets fully come apart in 2 pieces. The Classic Lockets are 2 sides held together with a hinge on its left side – like a clam.

3. The Silver Twist Locket with Swarovski Crystals Face + Base looks identical to the Classic Large Silver Locket with crystals  but a $6 difference in price.  The Swarovski costs a little more.

So, remember, the next time you place an order.. think and review carefully.  Don’t forget about the base, ’bout the base for the Twist.  For the Classic Lockets, no separate bases and faces are needed.
