Step 1. Place the locket in a silk fortune cookie pouch.
Step 2. Place the silk pouch in the Origami Owl take-out box. Place tissue in box to avoid jiggling during shipping.
Step 3. Place the take-out box in a small brown mailing box (small boxes I bought from Box Brothers). Place tissue again to avoid movement of items in box.
Step 4. Go to post office. Ship it out via USPS for $1.95.
Step 5. Add tracking # for $.85.
That’s it! Shipping for under $3!

I ship for under $2 🙂 I print the labels at home and ship First Class – the shipping on average is $1.95 for the shipping and delivery confirmation 🙂 I am going to start doing a flat $5 shipping charge at my parties – that will cover my Origami Owl shipping fees, and my shipping to the customer. Everything will be sorted, packaged, and it will place no stress on my hostesses 🙂

Great idea! I have thought of doing it from home and printing myself but I like my post office people.
The $3 shipping I charge is not for party orders. They are for retail orders (outside parties). I don’t charge shipping at all for parties – one of the perks of doing a party with me.
I have let my friends, family, customers know that if they do a direct order with me, (I do 2+ bulk orders a month), i can cut their shipping from the company’s $7.95 to $3 and everything comes to them sorted and assemebled =)
